Sportscraft creates a minimalist, modern aesthetic for the Tokyo 2020 opening ceremony that’s at once polished and playful

A stunning Sydney morning at Wylie’s Baths, Coogee saw the unveiling of Matt Shirvington’s haircut and, possibly more importantly, the official opening ceremony uniforms for the 2020 Australian Olympic team. We’re still saying 2020, apparently. Just go with it.

Designed by Sportscraft in collaboration with the Australian Olympic Committee, the uniforms are a green and gold sartorial tribute to our country’s sporting heritage and professional athletes past and present. As are matching white sandshoes, with green and gold details, custom-designed by Volley Australia.
