Brits return from Tokyo with haul of four golds after finishing third in swimming medal table

British swimming Olympians have landed back in the UK from Tokyo after returning from their most successful Games.

Team GB finished third in the swimming medal table behind the US and Australia. They won eight medals this past week. The squad returned with a haul of four golds, beating the UK’s previous best performance, in the 1908 Games in London.
